Sienna Latscha ‘27 Tribal Nations

Sienna is packing her bags this summer for Washington D.C.! She’ll be joining a group of FFA members from tribal nations from around the U.S. in a unique and immersive experience at our nation’s capital.

“TAF [Tribal Agriculture Fellowship] is proud to partner with the National FFA Organization to sponsor Native American high school students to attend the Washington Leadership Conference. TAF recognizes the importance of engaging Native youth in all aspects of Native agriculture and is invested in supporting the future of Native agriculturalists.”

“WLC inspires FFA members to become
changemakers in their communities. Each day of the conference focuses on a different principle taught through the context of our nation’s capital. These principles include exploration, encouragement, advocacy and service. At the end of the week, members leave with a Living to Serve Plan they can implement in their communities.”

We are so proud of you Sienna and cannot wait to see you represent the Pala Band of Mission Indians and our chapter this July!
